Last week Carly and I visited my parents for a few days. Jody was out of school on snow days, so we got to spend some extra time with him and Tiffany. Carly enjoyed herself, as usual, ruling the house and getting her very own remote. She had everyone laughing the way she pointed it at the television and pushed buttons. She thought she was hot stuff.
We were home on Saturday afternoon by the time Jon was home from work. He and Carly were very excited to see one another. There were lots of hugs and tons of lovin'.
This week has been really nice. Carly enjoyed our homemade pizza on Tuesday night. She shoved it in as fast as she could and let me know when she wanted more. She had it all over her, so we headed straight to the tub. We even did a little shopping one day. Yesterday it was nice enough to take a long walk and enjoy the sunshine. We plan to do the same today.
