1-year Doctor Visit

What a morning! Carly had her 1-year doctor visit this morning and it was eventful. I am happy to report on her height and weight. She is 31 inches, putting her in the 95th percentile for her height. She weighs 23 pounds 8 ounces, putting her in the 80th percentile for her weight. (These numbers are very different from our last visit.) The doctor was very pleased with her progress and the only area she pointed out she might be behind in from premature birth was teething. She has four teeth in and two more close to cutting through. The hard part this morning was four shots, two in each leg, and the blood draw I was not expecting. I don't think the stick for the blood draw hurt much, it was the three strange ladies squeezing her arm and being in her face. Oh well, we got it taken care of and no more sticks for three months. :) All of this growing up is hard work.
