Beautiful Days!
We have had a couple of beautiful days and Carly has insisted on playing with her bubbles. She spills more than we blow, but she loves it! It has been great to be able to be outside. We have had a bad case of cabin fever. I am really looking forward to spring and summer. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the pretty weather.

Potty Update
We have a little more progress on the house, a short break in the cold weather allowed them to pour the concrete in the garage and for the patio. Now they should be able to get going.
I mentioned Carly's interest in the potty in the last post and we haven't really been very successful. It's sort of hit and miss. Some days she is interested in going and will pee several times and some days she doesn't think about it much. When she does go, she never seems to forget the m&ms. Sorry, but I am not above bribery. M&Ms are much cheaper than diapers :)
This morning she wanted pig tails. This is my sorry attempt . . . as you can see I need lots of practice in the hair department. Maybe, hopefully, I will improve with the years of practice to come. I really need someone to teach me how to frenchbraid.

Cross Your Fingers
Last weekend we tried to get Carly to wear panties and go in the potty and she would have nothing to do with it. To our surprise, yesterday she woke up and wanted to go potty in the toilet and wear her panties. We had a couple of successes yesterday. Today we woke up and started again. This morning she has gone pee and poop in the potty!!! Keep your fingers crossed for us that she stays interested.

Empathy
Carly and Claire are becoming great buddies. Here's a recent picture of the two of them hanging out. Carly has become very empathetic toward Claire. Seems like over the last couple of weeks when Claire starts to cry Carly becomes very upset and says, "No, no, no," and starts to cry with her. It's not a little cry either, it's a strong cry with big alligator tears. Some afternoons it gets pretty loud :)
