Snow Days

We have been bundled up inside like everyone else in central Missouri since Monday evening.  Jon's employer even closed their offices yesterday and today.  This morning the sun came out and Jon tackled the concrete driveway.  It took him about an hour because of the slippery ice under the snow - he completed the task without falling.

Then, this afternoon when the kids were napping we decided to tackle the driveway and try to get to the road.  It was an overwhelming start, but we actually made quick work of it. 

We had this completed in under an hour.  We were pretty pleased with our progress, enough room to get the truck in and out.  It's hard to find a place to measure because of the drifts, but we think we easily got between 18 to 20 inches.
